What Makes Kim Kardashian Famous?

If growing up in the prestigious neighborhood of Beverly Hills wasn't enough, little 4 year old Kim Kardashian attended the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California. This school attracts the richest of the rich to this day with an alumni that includes Alyssa Milano and Nicolette Sheridan. Kim Kardashian had fabulous classmates and friends such as multi-billionaire heir, Paris Hilton, and Nicole Richie. We wonder if Kim and Paris had secret meetings to, one day, take over Hollywood during recess…hmm?
We know that this would probably be hard to read or believe, but Kim Kardashian used to work for somebody else, a celebrity at that. In 2004, poor R&B singer and actress Brandy, was named the worst-dressed celebrity which is where Kim Kardashian stepped in and got hired as the singer’s personal stylist in order to save her image. Not only was Kim a personal stylist, she also took on the role of a personal shopper for then-singer Lindsay Lohan. We guess Kim started from the “bottom” and now she’s here.
Kim’s biological father and American attorney, Robert Kardashian, was good friends with O.J. Simpson and acted in Simpson’s defense during his infamous ‘O.J. did it’ trial. It was a huge deal because O.J. Simpson charged with the double murders of Ronald Goldman and Nicole Simpson, O.J.’s wife. Later O.J. got set free of all the charges due to his awesome attorney. This all happened before Kim’s mom got married to Bruce Jenner, so it’s safe to say that Robert Kardashian initially placed the spotlight on his family. Way to go Papa Kardashian!
In October 2007, America changed almost every household’s lives by airing a reality series based on the classified and professional lives of the Kardashian and Jenner family. This show has ballooned Kim’s fame to a different level as it places an even bigger magnifying glass on her daily life. We get to follow her on her dates, glamorous photo shoots, and lavish vacations with her over the top mom, sisters Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall, and brother, Robert Kardashian Jr. Forty minutes is all we get to have a glimpse of the rich and the famous.
Six months after her fling with Ronaldo, Kim started dating Kris Humphries, a professional NBA player of the now Boston Celtics. In 2011, Kris presented Kim with one the biggest rocks known to man and asked her to marry him, which they did three months later with the most glamorous, expensive, and publicized wedding to date. Unfortunately, the marriage ended 72 days later with Kim saying the cause was ‘irreconcilable differences’ and that life as Kris Humphries’ wife was “not ideal”. What a shame. At least they got $18 Million from just the wedding. Cha ching!
You've reached the end of Why Is Kim Kardashian Famous.

Thaci says Dacic will visit Kosovo

His visit has been granted because its purpose is religious, the Kosovo-Albanian language media reported. Thaci made the remarks during a session of the government in Pristina. "Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic will visit Kosovo on Saturday, and his visit has been granted because it is of a religious character, as he will visit the Gračanica Monastery," Thaci was quoted as saying. He also said that Kosovo was "an independent and modern state" which "shared civilizational values of the west," and would therefore "show understanding for religious and humanitarian values of other peoples." The Serbian government is yet to announce the agenda of Dacic's visit to Kosovo. Earlier this month, the decision Pristina's decision to ban Dacic from traveling to Kosovo during the campaign for the November 3 local elections sparked a controversy, which was resolved during their meeting in Brussels with EU's Catherine Ashton. At the session of his government on Friday, Thaci also said that the Serbian minister without portfolio in charge of Kosovo Aleksandar Vulin, "entered Kosovo illegally on Thursday" - but "did not specify any possible measures which could be implemented in such cases," Tanjug reported. However, Vulin spoke on Thursday to say that he had traveled to Kosovo "without any problems," and that EULEX did not ban him from taking the trip, while he maintained "no communication" with the authorities in Priština.

Below is quoted text on 08-Oct-2013 that Dacic gave to a Serbian news paper:
In an interview with the Serbian weekly newspaper Nin, Dacic advocated the partition of Kosovo, explaining that people "do not need fairy tales of multi-ethnic life anymore". "We have tried to defend Kosovo with war, but we didn't succeed," he said, maintaining that partition is the only realistic solution to the problem. The Serbian government's official stance on Kosovo is that it forms an integral part of Serbia, and cannot be partitioned or divided. Belgrade rejected Pristina's declaration of independence and maintains that Kosovo remains its southern province. "That's why I speak of demarcation, before it is too late," Dacic continued, explaining that he meant the correction of borders between the two neighboring states - Serbia and Albania. "Serbia should not have recognized anyone else as negotiator on the other side except Albania," he said, referring to the ongoing Belgrade-Pristina talks in Brussels headed by negotiators from both Kosovo and Serbia.
"Are we really so naive to think that Kosovo will survive as an independent, autonomous state?" the minister asked. He said that Kosovo, which declared its independence from Serbia in February 2008, could join Albania, just as Republika Srpska, Bosnia's predominantly Serb entity, could join Serbia. "You want me to say that there are different Albanians in Pristina and Tirana?" Dacic asks. When asked why he thinks it's easier to divide Kosovo between Albania and Serbia, and not between Serbian and Kosovo authorities, Dacic said that Kosovo Albanians are an Albanian national minority. Drawing a parallel with Republika Srpska, Dacic said that if the Bosnian Serb entity decides on a referendum to secede from Bosnia it will not want to become an independent state but to join Serbia, as they are the same people.
